The Dons played well and were unlucky to lose.We lost 18-24, but 18-18 would have been a fairer score.
I thought we helped them get most of what they got and the winning try was a cruel succession of missed tackles.

Yes very unlucky after a good display. The song they were playing as we were leaving the stadium summed it up, the one that got away.

Spurr & Leaf had big games today , we should have won . Gave away a silly penalty away for dissent & then the missed trip at the end cost us a least a draw.

Enjoyed the game until the last few minutes. The new prop did well also.

Game was there to be won and in my opinion lost thanks to two poor decison by Lee Waterman. Have position turned round under our own posts for discent and they score from the next set of 6. Then we were pressing hard towards the end and an impossible attempt at a field goal results in them moving down field and scoring a winning try!

Agree Leaf and Spurr had big games but all too no avail.

thought the new lad johnson looked really impressive and played well
we lost it in the first 2 mins of 2nd half
when are we going to learn to catch the ball on the full from a k/o

disgraceful from the officials again even when we play well something goes against us
how they never saw the trp i will never know, the linesman on that side never called a thing the whole match
but at the end of the day we gave a top 5 side a very hard game

Played well, but I would love to know who is making the calls out there.
Drop goal was stupid option, a grubber anything to pin back would have been better.
IMO it is no good giving Lee MOM, yes he had some big attacks, but, Dropped at Kick Off and then after holding out gives a penalty for talking back.....
Than seemingly decides on a drop goal, and even more daft is the pointles kick off, no short kick or anything madness...
For me when his team have run themselves to death he really let side down.
TM needs to get him sorted, had he just releaseD Stu after his brilliant break then we would have won that game...

Other than that some real positives against decent opposition and poor ref.
For me would not bother with any of the Dual Reg guys with exception of Cowling.

Can't disagree with any of Now Then's post. I guess Waterman puts himself in the positions to influence a game (no bad thing in my opinion) but self-discipline and giving away penalties will see us punished in this league, more so than last season. Man of the match for me was Chris Spurr.
