| Brilliant game. Think the team did well to come back from being so far behind in the first 20 minutes. Certain players stood out for me. Emmet, Robinson, steen and kesik. They never stop working and kesik was behind the dons comeback both times. Well done lads. COYDs!!

| It was a good game.
Swinton were the better side no doubt about that.
But the way we pushed them to within 4 points was really encouraging.
To get a bonus point after Swinton showed us up was little short of brilliant.
Let's pick the pace up and kick on from here.

| 18-0 down after 12 minutes, definately fearing the worst. after the first 20 minutes there werent a lot in it, if we hadnt conceded two tries in 1 minute in the second half.
anyway cracking game, loved it, best game in years

| Massive well done to all the lads today, it was one of those games that make to proud of your club.
Liability loughton gives the double movement when he should and who knows, but a well deserved bonus point non the less.
Thought the substitutions turned the game for us, Hughes and Kes taking the line on more, Spurr is the new ghost imo how he gets past players but also makes those couple extra yards by still pumping his legs while in the tackle.
Good to see Grant on the field today with the team.
We get our full injury free team on the paddock and we are equall to anyone in this division.

Yes they did well, but you forgot the main man who in my opinion was your best player.....the Ref. He was an absolute disgrace today.Good win for us today and you certainly gave us our hardest game so far.Good luck for the rst of the season and fantastic stadium.

| The ref was a disgrace for both sides and it wouldn't be fair or truthful to say he gave us more than you

| Laughton was his usual bumbling idiot in a ref's shirt, and the linesman about on par with him. Makes me wonder what the MC does on game days
I feared the worst after 20 mins, felt there was a double movement for Watson try, but the ref was poor for both sides. How many times diid he warn them for holding down, and even after having a word with the captain, two tackles later they did it again and the clown just penalised him with no sin bin.
There were more forward passes in that game today which had gone unchecked.
Great comeback from the lads, shame about the injured and absent players, felt that they could have made a difference today.
But chin up and lets go to Oldham with some confidence and style.

So your overlooking the blatent forward pass leading to your final try. This isn't sour grapes as of course we won.Can you also please explain the penalty given to Doncaster when Swinton actually dared to strike for the ball in the scrum and also he totally overlooked the fact Watson got flattened after kicking on the 5th tackle......just to name a few.
I haven't said anywhere that Doncaster didn't play well, they did and crdit to you but it will be interesting to see the penalty count in the second half especially.

No he didn't sin bin a swinton player for holding down, instead he chose to sin bin one for raking out when it was clear to everyone watching that the Donny player had merely dropped it.

| Good team performance with lots of commitment from the lads, shame we let in those tries in the second half after having them pinned in their own 20, but thats the sign of a good team and Swinton were very impressive with some quick hands going forward.
Nice to see some away fans too, thanks for coming.

| I agree with the Swinton Fan Marshy 1, I thought the final score flattered the Dons (not that I am not grateful for a bonus point).
They must have been bemused by some of Laughton's decisions in the second half. We clearly dropped the ball in a tackle, they got penalised and a try resulted and the final try was indeed from a forward pass.
We seemed to get almost every marginal decision in the second half.
Having said that the final try didn't matter and it did even up Watson's try.
Another 5 minutes and the Don's may well have won, and the Swinton fans would have been incandescent.
I have got to agree that the ignoring of forward passes by linesmen is becoming a disgrace and is spoiling our game. We might as well start watching the other code.
I seem to remember the lineman blatantly ignoring a forward pass by Swinton only to come charging onto the field all eagle-eyed only seconds later to assist in getting Adam Scott 10 minutes in the bin. I am not defending Scott here, merely pointing out how selective linesmen are. Now, either they have been told they have to keep out of the game as much as possible and ignore anything but a forward pass greater than 2 metres, or they are incompetent, or they are cowards. Either way it needs sorting.
I thought team spirit kept us in the game today after a poor start and you could see the delight and relief and joy from the Swinton players when they got those two quick tries in the second half. They knew that if Donny had got the first try in that half, the game was up for grabs.
Swinton could have taken their foot of the gas, I don't know, but I don't think we should get too carried away, since Swinton's defence is nowhere near as good as their attack, but good enough at times to keep out some ordinary finishing by Donny.
We need our best side out, we need to start winning again. A crowd of only 469 for a top game like that must drive the management scatty. Three defeats on the trot won't do anything to alleviate that.
Our next three games are Oldham away, Keighley at home (after a no-doubt bruising encounter with Wakey) and Workington away. After a bright start it's starting to look very hard. I'm struggling to see where the next win is coming from.
COYD
It tickled me today when someone said to me at half-time ... 'There is only one thing worse at this place than the beer and that is Laughton'.

| Quote: Marshy1 "So your overlooking the blatent forward pass leading to your final try.'" I don't think we are, and from where I was on the dugout side of the pitch, its possible Stu Sanderson was about a yard offside for his first try.
Quote: Marshy1 "This isn't sour grapes as of course we won.Can you also please explain the penalty given to Doncaster when Swinton actually dared to strike for the ball in the scrum'" One of a fair few strange decisions.,, Quote: Marshy1 "and and also he totally overlooked the fact Watson got flattened after kicking on the 5th tackle......just to name a few.'" From where I was stood, just to the Swinton end of the dug outs, I got a pretty decent view of it, even if I was a fair distance away, and I believe that Chris Spurrs main intention was to charge the kick down, and its unfortunate that his momentum, and that of Ian Watson led to the clash of heads. I think the fact that both of them stayed down made it look a lot worse than it was. Quote: Marshy1 " it will be interesting to see the penalty count in the second half especially.'" Indeed.
Lastly, what the hell has Phil Joseph been eating? He seems to have doubled in size since I last saw him.
