The eternal cynic in my thinks that maybe with the club having a heads up of the questions they felt they didn't like them and they would be uncomfortable to answer, so in true politician style just cancelled the meeting and hoped we'd go away.

I would like to add in a question, how can a club (Sheffield Eagles) who have most likely lower financial backing that us continue to achieve, thrive and survive, and produce some excellent Rugby League, while we cannot despite the face we are constantly told we have a massive budget and some of the richest directors in the RFL?

I have my suspicions that the financial picture at Club Doncaster (for the Dons, Rovers and Belles) is not as "rosey" as we are lead to believe. If the club were afraid to answer questions, they would do away with the Fans Panel Meetings altogether. At least they give us an opportunity to put questions to them. They need to be given some credit for that.

The questions won't go away. They'll be asked when the meeting does take place.
