I was listening to the Featherstone chairman on Rugby League Backchat tonight. They have a strong tie up with Leeds at the moment.
When asked whether DR would continue next season, in view of 15 teams having reserve teams in the new reserve comp, he said he thought there was a place for DR to run alongside reserves.
The players of the DR team (Featherstone or Dons for example) will also be eligible to play for the reserve team of their DR partner (Leeds and Hull).
Maybe the end of DR isn't quite in sight yet? |

JH sustained a calf injury according to a Free press report and that was being assessed at last evenings training session. Hope he can be fit. He must be in the running for player of the season IMO.

As soon as I saw 'injury' I immediately associated injury with Jordan Howden.
Howden's done okay at full-back - not that I think he should be POTS.
Jordie has been outstanding. His courage and determination is great to watch. |
