Oh heck, I'm losing the plot S/O. It's a good job you chaps are here to put me right!
I'm snowed under with work at the moment and clearly not thinking straight!
The penny should have dropped with the Rovers being on Sky next Monday but I'd overlooked the fact that Sky would be milling around on Sunday. Thanks for putting me right on that one Jemmo.
I didn't mean to confuse you Onedon. Sorry about that.

| Was well on my way to this game.
Set off at 5:30.
However.... there was supposed to be a 56 bus from outside Urban at 7:31.
My aaa!
Went home!
Freezing, Friday night .... I bet there wasn't 350 there.
Night games are a waste of time ... nothing runs and the town is full of aresholes on a Friday night!
Myself included.
Glad they won.

| A pity more people didn't see it. A very good performance and one of the best in terms of all round play.
Nice to see we held a dummy half up over the line this time.
Extremely pleased as before the game I thought these would be at a similar level to ourselves and saw this game as a potential banana skin tbh.
Ps It is always nice to nil someone isn't it?

| Yes it was bloody cold but worth running the risk of frostbite in the nether regions to see another top quality display.
Harris ran the match, closely followed by Owen.
Some cracking tries but overshadowed by a solid defensive team effort. Can’t remember the last time we nilled anyone. Worth the £15 alone.
Only disappointment was the crowd. Ok, it was a cold, Friday night but hopefully the stay-aways realise what they’re missing and get back in decent numbers.
No excuse for it not to be a rocking atmosphere for the York match.
COYD!!!

| Good result but not only is it a cold Friday night but the gate price was £15.
Is it better to have 700 paying £10 plus whatever programmes beer burgers etc they would have or 350 paying £15 and thinking hold on I’ve already spent a bit tonight ??

That why this club will always struggle.
Just can't win with the Donny public whatever they do.

| And that’s why people don’t post on here anymore because no one else is allowed an opinion
People ask about crowds and other people give serious replies and then you get blown out of the water because of it.
I just think why the hell should I bother either and lots more must agree or they’d be down there like the old tattersfield and belle vue days because if you’re not in the clique then pee off and don’t bother us

| Another top class performance by a well organised Dons team. Good defence, quick to follow up kicks and opponents left on their backs in tackles. The attacking play was sharp too. Newcastle certainly didn't lie down and attacked hard throughout the second half. I don't suppose the weather conditions were conducive to a bigger attendance but those who stayed away missed a treat.
Being in the West Stand helped the fans feel more connected with the dugouts and for once the off-field officials had somebody to wave their numbers to at the interchanges. The interchanged players also seemed to benefit from the close presence of the fans.

I don't suppose many, if any, more would have turned out had the prices been reduced. For some reason evening matches no longer seem popular and cold, damp evening matches even less so.

| Great game last night. Every player put in a massive defensive effort and the attack was again very sharp, and more importantly varied.
It could've been 40-0 had Liam Harris not been held back by a Newcastle defender in the last minute. I know he was 40 metres out but there was no catching him.
The Dons must now have a massive target on their chest for the likes of Bradford, Oldham and York.

There was a kick through I noticed in the second half, where the first two players to the receiver were the two props. Didn't give the attacker much space either.
