| We seemed to miss Cas big time today
I thought he might have played Wilkinson as well.

| Hard work!!!!! Credit to them played a slow game that suited them and fair play to them.
I'll not start about the refs performance but end of the day 3pts but a missed opertunity to increase our points for tally.
Good job waterman played from the start!!

| It's a good sign when we can play that badly and win. A bad day at the office with a win bonus; it's like being a banker

| Spoke to Carl hall briefly after the game and all he said was " close exciting game like that! What more can I do to generate intrest!". Seemed really despondent and it's a shame because we owe him for being in the position we are now.

| it's not Carl Hall, the Dons or the Rovrs - Its the town. Dons, Rovers, the Knights and the Belles for that matter all have their hard core support who will always turn out (the 500 today) However there seem to be very little interest in sport generally in the town and so very few additional floating supporters to attract. Even when we have boxing world champions in the town they cant sell out a local venue.
Doncaster is apathetic to sport and as stated by officials in all codes the town doesnt support its clubs and to some extent doesnt deserve the clubs it has and no one seems to have the solution.
Answers on a postcard please!!!

| The problem is that the marketing is being aimed at Rovers supporters, and it's clear Rovers supporters aren't interested.
The focus needs to move towards 2 groups; former supporters (when we played at Tattersfield we were getting 2,000 supporters regularly) and new supporters. In the second group I'd also include Doncaster Knights supporters.
A good start would be a bus from Bentley via town to the stadium. A conversation needs to be had with First too as the service bus leaves too close to the end of the game. If it's delayed by 10 or 15 minutes more supporters will be able to catch it.
I think the area of Doncaster "over the bridge" is where we need to target. I think heavy postering is needed in that area.
I'd also like to see a-frame trailers out there at key roadside sites.
I offered to sit on the supporters feedback group but I heard nothing.

| By the way it was a below par performance by us and an unexpected great effort by Barrow today. Made for a frustrating watch but an exhilerating and nail biting end.
Great sport what more can you ask for, its what spectating and supporting is all about.

| Barrow were better than expected, we were off pace, Bloem other than suddenly deciding to play off side 50 mins in had a good day and let the game go...
Next week will be tough but amount of injuries we have sat 2nd is bloody brilliant.
As for Attendance - what can you do, not many people will be able to afford time / money to watch two teams across 2 sports.
The Donny end of town has always been nearer Bentley but its that long ago how many that aren't already attending would now start up again...?
Unfortunately no easy answers and I feel for Carl and Co.
Worth looking at back pages of League express at what clubs are doing Fev are always promoting something whether it be junior, fund raising etc.
Also look at how Hull FC run their Facebook Page, links well to website and really keeps feeding info etc out.

| I think posters on the railings at the traffic lights to Asda on main north road would keep people posted.
Its the main road into and out of town and people would notice them when they are waiting for the lights to change to green.
Anything to get people to know about the games.
It doesn't guarantee they will decide to go, but every little helps.

Bus service to the Keepmoat is next to useless. People without cars are lost to the game.

| You would think a decent bus service at weekends would be beneficial to the shopping at lakeside as well.

| I know it's being done in Robs spare time mostly so not complaining, but are the tries from Sunday going on the YouTube channel? I'd love to see Scott's tries again
