I believe that both clubs will be run from the same finance model, different budgets of course but on the same lines none the less.

The architect of the deal so it appears. Nothing definate about him being against the deal but one post on the Viking Forum says that he was against the tie up. There are some very good businessmen at both clubs IMO, and you would hope that they know whats best all round. I have every faith that Gavin Baldwin and Carl Hall know what they are on with

John Ryan has in the past had dealings with Kevin Phelan who is associated with Sequentia, having read numerous and I mean numerous amounts of narrative on the issue. Mr Ryan brokered it and thought it was a way of raising capital for the Rovers the other board members including Terry Bramhall did not. The Rovers fans are split on the matter but I believe that a good few do not trust the Sequentia interest (Hedge fund etc etc. lost on me). Mr Ryan was obviously at odds with the board and has left. That is how it reads.

John Ryan may well have resigned as chairman of the rovers but his he still going to continue as a director of the club?
Kevin Phelan acted for Westferry who bought the rovers & the lease for Belle Vue from rovers chairman Ken Richardson's company Dinard Trading they eventually sold the rovers to John Ryan but they kept hold of the lease they also got hold of Peter Bentley's & the Massarells share holdings in the Dons I can tell you that all Westferry were interested in was buying Belle Vue from the council & developing the site.
