I'm not sure that will stop him. He'll find it more painful sat watching. He played on in the Dewsbury game with the broken nose, and refused gas and air at hospital.

Im sure he will want to play, but if the medical advise is not to, im sure the club will heed the advise. By the look of the injury, not really expecting him to figure, but stranger things have happened .

Why do I have a particularly bad feeling about tonight?

Maybe due to teams who are desperate can be very dangerous. Dons need to be completely focussed .

Reasons to be nervous:

1) Our performance levels have dropped considerably over the last few games. A further drop could see us get well beaten.

2) If York lose they are relegated. A bonus point means they are almost certainly relegated. They are wounded tigers. We saw what Swinton were capable of when their backs were to the wall.

3) York beat us easily when the teams last met.

4) There is some pressure on us to win as we need a home draw in the first round of the play-offs.

Reasons to be hopeful:

1) The lads will want to give Tony a good send off as coach and will be more up for it than ever.

2) If we play anywhere near our best we should certainly be good enough to win.

I've got a feeling that we'll come good tonight and it'll be a good game. We'll miss Kes if he's not playing though.

No post on the York forum - unless they post elsewhere..

Must win tonight as they are the bottom club and when you talk about increasing attendances then losing to bottom club at home will not bring people back.

We may have over achieved this season which may have sent us all a bit in the sky - but in any profession if you set targets and beat them i.e staying up - you don't then say job done you press on.
Been in sales etc all my life and that's just how it is...

That was exactly my first thought before reaching your response. Let's hope this potential banana skin is dealt with accordingly.

Probably because we have been in simlar situations before and chucked it away. We seem to play better against the higher placed teams than the bottom ones. York have nothing to lose tonight they just have to go for it and they could be very dangerous. We need to be out of the traps early.

We will need to show better discipline tonight than was the case last Thursday, that is for sure.
