| Forget all the could have and bad night at office ref etc that will likely get mentioned The discipline tonight was the worse for sometime. Forget about stay away fans. Feel sorry for those paying and travelling to watch that. Well done dewsbury stuck to plan and won. Albeit some slightly bias fans Mick butts MOM.

| Totally agree with Now Then, poor discipline gave them piggybacks up the field. Thought Dennis was poor in defence of the kicks. Plenty of work needs doing with Dennis IMO on defending the high kicks. They peppered him and got the tactics right.
Lets hope we can leave this game behind us and start again for next week.

| I went, wished I hadn't.
STILL we are letting the ball bounce at restarts with disastrous results.
STILL we have p?ss poor discipline at the play the ball.
STILL nobody seems to know what to do in certain situations, Tuffour was hung out to dry and waited for their punts instead of going towards the kick and jumping. The only time he did that he dropped it.
We squandered at least half a dozen chances to gain a VITAL bonus point. If someone had scripted the cock-ups we performed, then it couldn't have been more perfect. You had to be there to see it.
INCOMPETENT!!!
Not good enough and a poor basis for progress next season.
That's why we don't get crowds. The skills on offer from both sides were crap!
We were just crapper.
Waterman??????? What has happened to him?

| Stand Offish ,I didn't go ,there is no beating about the bush from you mate.
At the beginning of the season I think most of us would have accepted a play off spot.
Give them a break , get behind them next week.

| Sadly, Stand-Offish has hit the nail on the head. I'm struggling to remember a worse performance last season, let alone this. Clueless springs to mind. Cookey was anonymous and that's being polite.

I will be there against York and Sheffield, that's a given.
And no I won't give them a break, they were dreadful, and yes you had to be there, which you weren't!
When they are good I say so, when they are shoite I say so.
Read the other posts, what do you want lies?
Try to catch some video and use an abacus to count the number of dropped balls.
Amateurish.

Never remotely a chance of a bonus point,Alan. Our handling was diabolical - which gifted them tries.

There won't be a video going online of this (currently, we don't have a camera at away games, so don't record our own video). There were a hell of a lot of dropped balls, but where we were bad, the refereeing was just as bad. Lots missed for both teams (including a flop on Dave Scott in the second half), still, we've got it all in our hands now, and given that we were written off by many people a couple of months back, its a good place to be.

Too right it's a good place to be, especially after earlier in the season, remember reading some other fans forums saying we should be easily beaten cos we were the "new boys/newly promoted"in the league .
Gotta agree there was a load of mistakes that need sorting but as said that ref and his TJ's where dire at times, for both sides mind! Mate of mine said their forwards would bully us? Oh really mate? Our pack played hard and got well stuck in throughout the game, sadly mainly defensive play, so some positives to take from it.
Need to re-group now, put it behind us and give it all for the next two games.......very do-able!

I agree, but we've now turned in two below-par performances on the bounce. The less said about Hewer(the ref ) and his cohorts, the better ; can't blame him for our poor handling though. We've really got to re-group for the York game.
Defence was generally good but we looked dodgy for the umpteenth time under the high ball ( barring Butts ) and hideously exposed on our right wing more than once.

I think we've been running on 'fumes' since Halifax, and 2 games in 5 days is never good for the body. At least we've got a week to regroup and recover (I believe the players are training on Bank Holiday Monday to prepare for York and Sheffield), although, I hope Kyle Kesik is available for York, as his injury looked particularly nasty last night (I know there are pictures of it, but having done the same injury Kyle received last night, on 20 occasions previously, I can only sympathise with how much pain he'll be in this morning).

| We played badly, they weren't great, they just did the basics right and it won them the game.
We seem to have become to reliant on a player who isn't even ours and who, until very recently, wasn't even playing in his vital position. We look like we're playing at the end of a very tough season, which to be fair, we are.
Anyway I'm over it already, we're not going down by some margin and we have achieved more this season than I dreamt before a ball was kicked (and allowed to bounce)
