How long have you been supporting the Dons and how many games have you seen them play?

to answer your question tho' - I followed the lads through mainly thin times in the 70s when working in the Lincoln area (i'm actually a french national) but moved back to france in the 80s and haven't been back to the uk except or family funerals since then so I have only seen the lads a couple of times in france in the past few years
so what does that make me ? i'm still a fan and still entitled to an opinion,or has free speech been deemed politically incorrect like most things in the uk nowadays ?

and no,I didn't make the 'exhausting' trip to Wales despite only having to work a mere five days each week - I don't think it's logistically possible to get to any part of the british rugby league outposts and back in a weekend and be back at work on the monday morning so many apologies for my lack of interest in the team.I do try to get to as many TO13 & Catalan games as possible though.
I am,however planning a trip to see the Dons for next april with my good lady to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary health permitting (my wife has cancer,ask Carl or Jackie if you don't believe that either !) so here's hoping I can meet all you diehard fans if you would allow me into your hallowed stadium to share a pint or two with you or don't you trust me to stand my round ?

Of course everyone has free speech, its the preaching to the already small bunch of diehards that still turn out week in and week out that winds me up.

Only just logged on to this thread, but maybe only getting six
sponsors last season as something to do with past experiences.Not
to long ago myself and another twenty or so sponsored Peter Green
to the tune of £10 each, only for him to mogg off to Sheffield.

yes,can sympathise with that,other people have said the same from the Dons and other clubs - it's unfortunate but it happens - we sponsored David Bates who has since left - this leaves the club in a tricky position also, tho' I believe Carl & co are trying to stabilise the club at least so I believe the club deserves our help - at least the sponsors name is always present so it's publicity for any small enterprise or indeed a private individual who wants to help in some small way -
many of the larger clubs are over-sponsored by two or thre times (there's a long waiting list at Toulouse so i've heard for example)
players come and go as we all know tho' the club is always there (it's touch & go sometimes of course !) so maybe we should make allowances for the inevitable departures
