A cracking offer from our friends at Fev, on pitch rivaly is put to oneside at times like this, its one of the great things about the game of RL.

Saw this on my teams board (cas). Think it is a great thing for Fev to do, and as we are playing on Friday I will be there on Sunday to support it.

Maybe it's worth switching one of your home matches to a Saturday so more people can come down?

The latest press release is any other Rugby League club to attend Sunday's game at The Chris Moyles stadium between the two clubs and upon payment of the standard £14 entry and presentation of their own season ticket at a dedicated turnstile, Rovers will donate 50% of the entry fee back to the Doncaster club.

Andy Prout – Rovers Chief Executive stated:-

"It is a very challenging economic and financial time for all clubs, but it is particularly sad that having achieved promotion from division two last year, Doncaster are now facing tough times both on and off the field, and it is times like this that the Rugby League community must pull together for the long term sustainability of the game.

Whilst only a small gesture we at Featherstone Rovers are pleased to be able to make this offer available and hope to be able to provide some form of financial assistance on the back of people watching rugby league at this level, so we are asking all season ticket holders and “true” Rugby League fans show their support for Doncaster in this difficult time. "

I don't think there is anything wrong with any of that Batley stuff.....fair comment I would say.

Some of the anti Fev comments were uncalled for. Sad for you loyal fans but the bottom line is you need more bums on seats. Hope you pull through and become a force in the game.

A great gesture from Fev. You can't blame those in charge now for past misdemeanours on the financial side. On the playing side, however.........hmmm
