| Quote: Wanderer "Handicap Betting ...
The Dons generally have 8 points start at odds of 10/11 (although Skybet offer 10 points start).
Match Betting ...
Mainly 2/1 but slightly better odds with Bet365 (9/4) & Skybet (5/2).'"
Skybet now in line with the rest, Dons +8 10/11 on the Handicap and 2/1 in the match betting.
Bet365 still 9/4 in the match betting market.

| After yesterdays workington result we now need to win 5 matches to be safe.
the first hopefully today, but can't see it with all the Rhinos players in the hunslet team,
is it Tom Briscoe & Steve Ward!

| Watched the game on TV. Thought the forwards had a decent game - Groat, Leaf (when he came on) and the other lad. On the other hand, there seems to be no leadership in attack. Our backs are also very small physically which leaves us defensively weak on the wings and vulnerable to kicks. Couple of additions and you could see the squad winning games again.

| Gonna post after what seems like a long time waiting for a win.
But it won't come!!!!!!
My logic is, that if I say what I am about to say, the ONLY chance for the Dons is that I am wrong.
We are relegated, not mathematically, granted, but we are USELESS and I can see no alternative.
Us winning five or six games is a pipe dream ... and it would need to be more than that.
We were effectively doomed many weeks ago at the time that I stopped posting.
The management of this club this season has bordered on the criminally negligent ... not criminally of course, but that's how it feels.
Destroying the club, granted not intentionally, despite bigger crowds really runs counter to what was promised.
We are effectively back at square one .... nobodies .... Hemel Stags .... Gloucester Gold ....at the just starting off level.
Happy days, I shan't be back next season ... goodnight!
I am too old for starting all over again.

That bad? What happened from last season? It looked so promising.
I have a feeling you'll be back whatever league we're in.

| Welcome back S/O!
The forwards competed well. All four props played really well and made good yards. Shaun Leaf looked good when he came on. Pas Dunn looked effective too.
After the Workington defeat, I pointed out that I thought our weaknesses were a lack of creativity in the half backs and an inability to defend around the half-back/centre area of the pitch. The same applied today.
Richard Wilkinson tried hard to get us going but was probably a bit rusty after his injury.
Until we can be more threatening in attack, rather than relying on one man plays to get over the line, we're going to struggle to record enough points in a game.
The lads tried hard but we weren't good enough. We're all but relegated now and it is a crying shame that all the good that has been done over recent years has come to this.
The bottom line is that the winter recruitment policy was wrong and we've suffered accordingly.

| A far cry from the effort against Workington, no lack of effort today, but creativity again was sadly lacking, it's been our Achilles heel all season. The writing is on the wall now, I can't see any way we could get enough points to stay up, would love to be wrong, but sadly I think the fat lady is tuning up.

| We are not relegated yet and need the true fans to stick together for the sake of the team. Some posters sound like those Southend fans who streamed out of Wembley before the final whistle on Saturday and then tried to get back in when they heard about the equaliser.
Today's performance was generally better than in some recent matches but we still need to cut out silly mistakes and try to find some guile from somewhere. It was good to see Richard Wilkinson back and Shaun Leaf had a good game. But we are deficient at stand off. I'd like to see Tom Hodson tried there. His pace is wasted at the moment where he is and when he comes in to first receiver there is rarely any space for him to exploit.

| Watched until 16-4 down and then switched over, know where you are coming from S-O everyone except the management team and the head in the sand brigade knew what was going to happen after a close season lack of recruitment. We had a belter few seasons but too many thought that the job was done, hope things do change and there is a rebuild and upturn next season but I really can't see it and I fear it may be the end of the road as a viable team
So peed off how things have turned out this season even family members who have never shown an interest in rugby tell me how crap we are
