| Richardc if you took the time to take your head out of Carl Hall's ar*e you will see its not easy for people to attend home matches that are 16 miles away from your supposed home ground.
You wrongly surmise that everybody drives or doesn't likes to partake in the odd beer with their match day entertainment.
Surely the definition of a home game is your home ground or at least your home town.
Pitch 2 has always been acceptable in previous seasons so why not now.
Featherstone is not the easiest place to visit on public transport on a weekday let alone a Sunday , a good 35 minutes journey in the car, turns into a three or four hour round trip by bus or train.
Please note we all cant worm our way on to the team coach.

And if there is a logical reason the club should provide some logical transport for the very reason that has been pointed out. (not everyone has their own transport) Do not confuse annoyance for doom and gloom.

Well said, his comment of doom and gloom has nothing to do with the topic.
There is no doom and gloom only a HOME match which is now NOT at HOME.

For your information I don't worm my way anywhere!!
I am a sponsor of the club and have been for a long time so do your research before making derogatory comments
Pitch 2 is not fit to play on there is to much damage by the shot-putters and javelin, to Meany holes so unsafe for the players
its 1 game for god sake its not the end of the world get over it

| It's not ideal having to play any games outside the main stadium but we've got to accept that it's going to happen from time to time.
The answer is simple, the club need to sort some buses out for the fans.

| My point is that three of my fellow supporters do not drive , and if I am on shift they cannot get to the game unless they take public transport.
At the very least the club need to provide buses from the Keepmoat or the town centre to the game free of charge.

| Sadly, it seems that Pitch 2 will not be fit for purpose and work has recently commenced on the pitch at Castle Park and that too will be unavailable.
I guess it's a case of que sera ...

| I've emailed the club and they're going to look into getting some transport sorted.
Further news should follow shortly.

| As a West Wales Raiders follower, who has chosen to use public transport,I have recently had my money spent on travelling to Coventry wasted,as the RFL decided to have them play a LCC game and postpone the League 1 game.
I book in advance in a vain effort to save money.
Having booked transport and accommodation in advance for this game I now have to make further alterations.
I think I shall ignore the fixture list when it comes out next November.
Have a safe and enjoyable journey to Llanelli for Sundays game, and likewise for the return journey.
After 4 successive away games I shall enjoy the relaxation of not travelling for a fortnight.
I do sometimes think the lifeblood of the sport, after the tv deals, are not very high on the agenda.
Enjoy your rugby league - as Harry Gration may once have said.

Well done on being such a loyal fan. I'm sorry to hear your plans have been thrown upside down.
We struggle to come to terms with fixtures changes at our level but it must be a nightmare being a Super League fan too. Shifting games to Thursday nights and Friday nights at short notice really makes it hard for season ticket holders, as well as away fans.
Good luck for the rest of the season.
