Batley came out second half, we didn't.

We were very poor in the 2nd half especially,NO support play,NO off loading all in all ANOTHER BLOODY SUNDAY.

Shocking 2nd half display , tackling & discipline was none existent after an encouraging first 40.

Shocking, but we will still resign most of them .... If our luck continues.

We don't look fit enough to compete for 80 minutes. We need other teams to be off their game (Batley first half) to stand a chance. Once teams get their act together (Batley second half) we're not able to compete.

First half encouraging, second half dire - no excuses just absolutely dire.

Same old familiar guff coming from gt "it was a game of two halves" "too many soft tries" "batley stepped it up in the 2nd half" where's the fecking pride? does anyone at club doncaster care were a laughing stock? the performances are as predictable as gt's and ch's after match analysis

It always puzzles me when coaches come out with guff that is merely a set of observations on the game that are in no way inciteful.
Spectators can see for themselves what is happening.
What spectators want to know is why, and furthermore if things are going tits-up what input came from the coach to remedy failings during the game.
That's his job ... he can't pan the team as though he has no input and responsibility or in some way they are ignoring him.
They should be following his instructions and if things are going wrong he should shift things about and tell them to stop doings things stupidly ... and if nothing changes that's as much HIS fault.
The fact is he can't put it right by the look of it.

I think we've all run out of enthusiasm.

Once again the team can't play for a full 80 minutes and yet Thornton places such a high priority on fitness. He's been the coach since 3 June and now using the improved facilities of Cantley Park so what the hell is going on.Players also supposedly playing to get a contract for next season but cave in against a team ripe for the taking.I've tried to understand the situation the club is in but disillusioned is now an understatement.Although it's early days it looks like the Rovers may have a season just like the Dons have had. No wins and not even an outfield goal. I wonder how long Club Doncaster will keep Dikov in charge whilst the season continues to pass by. Thank heaven for the Knights, a club that really is run as it should be.

Definitely not good to hear an injured player is high on the wanted list. Let's have some positive recruitment news to take us into the long winter months. Didn't bother with the program this week so don't know what the season ticket offer is but unless there's news of a few decent signings by the Dewsbury match I won't be investing this time round.
