| Quote: Double Movement "Good luck to Keighley. They're certainly trying to press on and leave nothing to chance this season.
I think that's the attitude you need to have
Until your in debt over your head and the Inland Revenue come knocking #bucketcollection.
I think they thought they would go up last year with the squad they had assembled and the money they spent, but as we saw in the play offs their bubble well and truly burst.
Fair play to them this season ,they appear to be the League 1 equivalent of Leigh unbeaten and a shoe in for promotion and still signing every quality player that comes available. Hopefully it wont end in tears.

| I wish them well and they will in all probability romp this League, it would be no surprise if they go the whole season unbeaten. I appreciate the live for today mentality of signing everyone but their Granny. If it works out ok financially then good for them but I can guarantee that Club Doncaster will never go down that route.

| The key to any successful business is sustainable growth. When the boat is pushed out too far the consequences can be dire, as we all know too well.
I suspect Keighley's plan is well thought out and based on a sound financial footing. With them being in the driving seat, they could have sat back and hoped they didn't need to spend a penny more to get promoted. On this basis, I'd guess their finances must be in a decent place.

Their antecedence in matters financially is not great but given the toothless approach of the RFL when is comes to clubs over reaching they might just think to heck with it.

Sadly, the RFLs approach to most things is toothless, Wilf.

| In reference to the comments about Keighley ...
Nice to see a club with ambition.
Makes a change from bluff & bluster and the seemingly constant acceptance of mediocrity.

We could have done without that. I suppose it was an offer Ben couldn't refuse. Can't blame him for taking the job.

| Saw that on the fans facebook site. Played his last ever game yesterday at Oldham and is hanging up his playing boots. Wishing him all the very best in his new role at York and a massive thanks for helping us out over the last year or so. Tremendous player who always gave his best IMO.

So will be missed for his urgency and skill.

| Grass is not always greener. Better money I guess but short term? Having such a clear out spells out Dewburys intentions next year.
I see Jack Miller received League 1 player of the season which was done no doubt through sheer hard graft and no little ability. I always liked him during his two seasons with us, does anyone know the reason why he left? cos its been Keighleys gain.
