Enjoy your holiday Stand-Offish. Life will look a lot better after a spot of rest and relaxation!
The Dons were second best and Sheffield deserved to win. We shouldn't be too downhearted because the effort was there from Donny and we were playing a very good team who were in very good form.
There are areas of our play that can be improved on and I'm sure Tony Miller will work with the lads to make things better.
We've come a long way in a relatively short space of time as a club. Winning the league last season was a great achievement and adapting and coping in this league is a big step up.
Of course, we all want to win every game and have flair players playing for us, but we've got to trust the club to use its money as wisely as possible. The quality of players Sheffield have compared to their attendances and perceived income means someone there needs a huge pat on the back for their achievement.
The Dons are moving forwards and we should be positive about the future.
Let's hope Paul Cooke's injury isn't as bad as we might have first feared. I've been a critic of Craig Fawcett this season but I thought he played very well with the added responsibility after Cookie went off. I agree with the earlier posters that Matt Carbutt had one of his best games for a long time.
I'm a big fan of Mick Butterfield and thought he did well on the wing but I'd like to see him at full-back with Lee moved back to centre.
Let's hope for a positive run of results for the rest of the season to build some confidence amongst the players and supporters!
