As all the remaining 'contracts' were cancelled on Wednesday evening, this has come as no major surprise. We may be missing one or two others tomorrow.

Josh has been a star this season. Had heard that he planned to retire at the end of this season so not sure why he has moved on with so few games left but that is now his prerogative.

Why werent all the contracts cancelled at the time when the last round of cuts were made ?

Why arent the club letting us know what is going on !

IIRC there were reductions (25%) in the contract terms which made all the contracted players free agents. Now all contracts have been terminated.

They appear incapable of running a bath let alone a so called club. Who is actually pulling the strings at the moment, who is running the shop. I have seen people flitting in and out of the 'Executive Box' area, whispers in corners and folk standing in the 'Directors' area like members of the Polit Bureau. But who the hell is in charge and what are they doing?. Gentlemen, this is breaking point and not a time for a cosy up by the same old tired faces. Total and utter disarray with these players going and feck all hope for the future.

The administrator is running the club. The RFL will have something to say about outgoings -money.


I think we are lucky to have a club after all the mis management over the years.

We have got to be more organised next season IF there is a next season !

Certainly feels like the end of an era with the likes of Pete Green and now Craig Lawton gone.

But we will have to cut our cloth accordingly for next season. Match terms only and trade and play at the level that we are realistically at with attendances as they will likely be.

sorry to say this,but thats me done.ive supportted this club since the late 60s,but the hearts just not in it anymore.iwould like to say a big thankyou to all the players who,ve done there hardest to keep the playing side going.i genually feel sorry for what the club have put them through.there does,nt seem to be any leadership or structure to the club anymore.it is a sad day for me because i had a lot of friends who played for the club,in particular PARKY,he,ll be turning in his grave bless him.i will carry on watching the game but as a nomad travelling to who ever takes my fancy,barring seagulls of cause.all the best to all you diehards and hope there will be a happy ending,you never know .hope you dont mind if i post now and then just to keep my hand in.COYD.

I understand that people are disgruntled with recent events but if we want semi-professional RL to continue in Doncaster we are probably all going to have to pull together and get behind the Club in whatever guise it continues.
