Supporting the Rugby League Family

At Sunday's game against Doncaster there will be a special gate set aside for Doncaster Season Ticket Holders. The £14 entry fee paid by Doncaster fans using this turnstile will be split and £7 will be given to the Doncaster Club.

This is a unique offer that Featherstone Rovers are glad to be able to make and hope that Doncaster fans take this up as a means of generating funds for their own club.

Well as a Fax fan who have a home match this weekend I would not be able to attend but why not put a call out to other rugby clubs who may not have a match Sunday see if Featherstone would allow them to use the same turnstile.It`s worth asking.

Bang on - update on this!!

I'm now led to believe that Featherstone Rovers have now extended the offer for Sunday. Porceeds from the gate receipts from season ticket holders from any other club (not just Donny Supporters) using the turnstile identified for Donny fans, will been shared between our two clubs!!

Please can someone update the Halifax message board people are wanting to know what time the legends match is before we play you.
Also why don`t you post the info about the season ticket offer at Fev on all the other boards I know Cas play Fri evening some of them might come also there may be other teams that are not playing Sunday.

If we didn't have a match this Sunday at Fax I would be there myself.....although I would have to wear an Eagles shirt so you lot probably wouldn't want me there anyway

Well he could do but as a Halifax supporter I would think the call for the rugby community to attend would be more apropriate coming from a Donny supporter .When my own club was in trouble 2 /3 yrs ago I did just that ,thankfully many supporters turned up from other clubs and we have been very gratful.If we were not playing at home Sunday I would be there myself ,instead we are trying to see if a group of us can get down in July .
