Someone at the Keepmoat needs a right kicking for this...the Stewards were redundant all game and if they'd nipped the obvious drunks in bud earloy doors it wouldn't have escalated this far

I am also lead to believe it was a supporters call that was needed for the police to arrive as the stewards thought their presence would only inflame the situation.

Absolutely embarassed for the game about the whole thing

The Keepmoat didn't do a thing.

Also, with the Little lad sat on the front row, when one of their fans came down to 'have a go' at him. No on seemed to know how to handle it.

The Queens 'fan' who chased him was in handcuffs ouside the Stadum.

This could and imo should result in both teams getting banned from the comp.
Them for the crowd trouble,and us for our under policeing of the incident

why should we get banned at the end of the day we were there to watch a good game of rugby like we always do the few k@%b's were there for a fight why should the club be to blame

Because we took that game on saying we could police it correctly and it was plain to see from the k.o that our stewards were either not up to or not trained enough to do this job

I have never seen such disgusting behaviour from fans at a Rugby League match before the whole thing was a farce from start to finish..

The stewards obviously could not cope.. They allowed their fans to stand up at the front, bang on the advertizing boards, smoke, throw beer around and intimidate people... It was obvious that they were gonna kick off at some point.. So why was it left till the second half before the police were involved??

God only knows how they cope with a 15,000 sell out football match..

Why should the Dons suffer financially for people of low intellect who drink and drink and then go looking for arguments and fights. The stewarding is what it is. In my view a certain section where spoiling for that trouble and they carried it out to perfection. Not the Clubs fault and certainly not something that should we should ever have to witness at a Rugby League game. All summed up nicely when some of the Queens players game over to clap the very people who may have denied the Queens players a victory.

Yes agreed. the announcer had to tell them twice to go back into the changing rooms,, in my eyes that makes the team as bad as their supporters... They should be banned from ever playing again...

The kind of behaviour that the Queen's 'fans' were displaying would
never have been tolerated at a Rovers match. It would have been
stamped on straight away. However, having said that, had the stewards
kicked the offending fans out then I think the rest would have kicked off
big time and there was not enough stewards in place to deal with a situation of that magnitude.
The Police should have been called earlier.

Regarding the thug who smacked the young lad, I hope he gets the book
thrown at him. The lad did nothing. He was just walking by and the idiot
took a swipe at him then he tried to attack the heavily pregnant woman
who was trying to protect the lad. A BRAVE MAN INDEED.

The Stewards were similarly impotent at the Fev game.

Weren't Redhill banned and eventually disbanded for something similar?
