| Can the Dons make it third time lucky with a win in Cumbria after defeats at Barrow and Workington?
I'd like to think the answer is YES

theres only one real rugby league team in cumbria namely whitehaven rugby football club: |
|
| think it,ll be a close haven win with you lot getting a bonus point.haven played really well down at rochdale at weekend defending splendidly in the second half.team should be the same as last weekend and the lads are fired up now for the run in.rooney will be the key again to unlock the dons defence.

| Paul Cooke absoultely controlled the game against Workington, led by a massive performance by the pack, and an incredible defenisve effort. The Recreation Groud isn't a ground we have much luck at in recent years, but all the Dons players know the importance of winning this game.
I agree it will be a close game.

| After the match I spoke to one of the camera guys on facebook - he usually puts all the clips together I believe. Anyway he said there might not be any due to premier sports owning rights and he was gonna have to look into it. I assume therefore that there won't be any.

| Match Preview
Doncaster Rugby League Club are back on the road this week after enjoying two successive home victories and travel to fourth-placed Whitehaven.
The Dons secured promotion to the Championship last weekend thanks to their 22-6 win on Thursday night against Workington and a Whitehaven win at Rochdale on Sunday afternoon.
The blue and gold's were good value for their win in front of the Premier Sports cameras whilst Whitehaven took a big step towards promotion themselves with a 31-12 victory at Spotland.
Sheffield forward Alex Rowe has returned to the Eagles after his month loan expired and Grant Edwards is hoping to secure a place in Tony Miller's squad after recovering from a knee injury.
Miller has no new injury concerns ahead of the game and forward Craig Lawton will also be itching to get back on the pitch after shaking off a back injury.
The Dons are set to travel up to Cumbria on Saturday after a training session and an overnight stay further highlights the club's ambition to win this year's league title.
Dons head coach Miller said: "This is our third trip to Cumbria this season and it will be another tough, testing game for us at the Recreation Ground.
"It's a great feeling to be promoted with four games to go but we want to go as far as we can and we will give it our all to win the league.
"Whitehaven are looking for that fourth and final promotion spot so they'll certainly make life difficult for us.
"I thought we were excellent against Workington the other week and we'll need to be just as good against Whitehaven on their patch as we all know Cumbria is a hard place to pick up a win.
"We were hoping to sign Lucas Walshaw from Wakefield for Sunday's game but it looks like we'll have to wait until next week to see what he can bring to the table."
Whitehaven head coach Don Gailer is set to name an unchanged squad from last weekend and said: "Our first half was solid, but our second half was outstanding. It was one of the best 40 minutes we've played this year.
"The determination and the attitude the boys went in with is what put us on the right track, and then Jamie Rooney really stood up for us.
"The mix between Jamie's attack and Lee Doran's leadership combined to unite everyone. It was a very pleasing performance."
However, Gailer is wary of the threats Doncaster will pose this week and added: "They're the best team we've played against this year.
"Everyone singles out Paul Cooke, and he's a good player, but people get a little bit mistaken about the talent that's in the rest of their squad.
"They've a good, young forward pack, quick wingers, and Lee Waterman is very dangerous at full back.
They're a strong side, they're well-drilled and they were excellent against Workington."
The game has a 3pm kick-off at the Recreation Ground on Sunday.

| Betting for tomorrow's match ...
Skybet can't split the teams and go 10/11 each of two with the draw at 16/1.
Bet365 slightly favour the home team;
Whitehaven -2pts 4/5
The Dons +2pts Evens
Handicap Draw 16/1
or
Whitehaven 4/6
The Dons 6/5
The Draw 18/1
(without the Handicap).
