Following another disappointment in Cumbria, next up it's Dewsbury Rams who have turned into a bit of a bogey team for the Dons.

In the 5 fixtures since the Dons promotion to the Championship, the Rams boast a 100% record, with 3 of their victories coming at the Keepmoat.

The signings of Ben Reynolds and Peter Fox can be viewed positively, both were try-scorers at Whitehaven but the Dons now sit 4 points adrift of Workington, Hunslet and Whitehaven and desperately need a win to kick-start the season.

Agree with you wanderer, we have to find a way to win against a team we don't usually do well against. As you say we are 4 points adrift, but we were before the game yesterday, so not much change, hopeful of a couple of more signings soon, if leafys bookmaker is correct, and I don't doubt him. Not ready to give up yet, but I must admit, feeling pretty low at the moment.

When you're in the position we're in, the next game becomes more critical than the last. We desperately need a result against Dewsbury.

I really feel for all the players and the coaching staff as they live and breathe what they do. It's bad enough for me as a supporter but it must be much worse for them.

Not expecting a win but expecting them to have a go, and looking forward to it. First double header of the season for us. Weather looks good and two cracking games of RL whats not too like.

Hoping for a good performance from the boys, showing some pride and passion. Hope that Cookey starts with Reynolds looked good yesterday and was trying new things that may come off. Hoping for a win then we can try and start to get out of this relegation battle

On your web site I can find the ticket information for the match but I understood that there was also a [promotion to take in both games at the stadium on Sunday. Is this the case and where can I find this information if it is still so?

we need to start winning our home games, starting with this sunday to have a chance of pulling
our season round.

we have 8 left [technically 7] counting Sheffield 'away' but is at Keepmoat. Plus Hunslet in summer bash at blackpool.
Of the remaining away games i can only see Batley, Fev, & dewsbury as possibles.

It is doable if we get another couple of decent signings, which i hope we do get.
