This article seems to cement the fact that we now play in Maroon as opposed to the Traditional Blue and Gold that we have all grown up.

Real misstep by the club, can you imagine any other team doing it or even the Rovers moving fully over to Blue and Gold......Look what happened when Vincent Tan wanted to change the colors that Cardiff City played in

We had one awful season away from the Blue and Gold in the ill-fated "Lakers" days, that worked out well didn't it?
Quote: Lakers "The kits are a fitting testament to a new sense of direction at the club, after confirming that they are going alone in 2020 without the dual-registration system that they have previously called upon.'"
Which marketing mastermind came up with this quote?
Yes another faux pas from Club Doncaster, I could get on board with the away strip being the Maroon, as traditionally away shirts are the "experimental" ones, but deffo not a home shirt, we look too much like Batley or Manley or ever Queensland sadly the appearance is where the similarities end.
Reading Cleggbook the usual suspects are defending the indefensible, but a lot of people are not happy, it's handy they waited until after Christmas and people received season tickets tho, I'm pretty sure we could have had a preview of the "designs" many months before they went into production, the cynic in my thinks this was a calculated "release" so people were already committed.
This along with the news that the Eagles will be using Castle Park, and I am sure we have made efforts to maybe you know to play our "home" games in South Yorkshire or better still inside the Doncaster borough. Everyone will love wearing the Maroon home strip at those home games at Post Office Road.
I guess the
ONLY positive is that shirts have been produced by a Doncaster firm so we're putting into the local economy.
