| After the heroics of beating Batley Bulldogs in the Challenge Cup and the (current) anticipation of who we will draw in the next round, Friday will roll around and it's back to the League with a tricky looking away fixture at Cougar Park.
But for a 12-point deduction for the transfer of club ownership pre-season, the Cougars would be third in League One and have won three and drawn one their five fixtures to date.
We await information on a number of players who missed out in the Challenge Cup with Matty Beharrell, Jordan Cox and Jordan Howden most likely to be available following injury and Brandon Douglas also available having sat out the Batley fixture.
Last Season: Keighley Cougars 6 Doncaster 50 (Sunday 9 September 201icon_cool.gif.
Dons Tries: Frankie Mariano, Russ Spiers 2, Richard Owen, Jack Logan, Jason Tali, Sam Doherty, Jason Muranka 2.
Dons Conversions: Matty Beharrell 7.

| Not expecting much help from Hull with them having Friday and Monday games. Fingers crossed we will have enough if some of the injuries have cleared.

| Beryl is not playing again ... knee problem picked up vs Newcastle.
He played on but got swelling in subsequent games.
Had a scan ... awaiting the diagnosis.

| Think we'd all like a squad announcement. Looks like Brandon Douglas may be fit. Very important player for me. An excellent prop. Physically very capable of being successful at a much higher level. Our forwards don't really worry me now. Boyle has stepped up. Spiers is effective as ever. Connor Scott is frightening coming off the bench. Bastas looks capable. I think we're pretty solid but Douglas has got that little bit extra. Add Jordan Cox and we're very strong up front.

| Backs then. 3/4s no problem at all. Wingers. Doherty and Chrimes were great against Batley. Either could have been mom for me. Centres. 2 png lads and Connor Bower. No issue there then. Full back and halves then. This is where we need stability

It is a strange one is the axis at 6 and 7. I suspect most Dons fans would have thought (me included) that to going into the Batley game without the regular pairing was fraught. With Liam Harris now available and if he could feature for us whilst the injury to MB is sorted then that is a plus no doubt.
