I seem to remember that Fawcett was.

May be but speed isn't everything, Craig was offered a contract but turned it down so I was told.

It's not everything but it certainly helps.
Trickiness is more important.
Hopefully Nicklas has it.

Should be an interesting Season. A big challenge to match or better last Season's finishing position. Looking forward to it.

As regards to the coming season, i dont think too many teams will have much more of a budget than last season, so see no reason that we cannot improve on last seasons position. But without investment i cant see us breaking into the top two or three. Looking forward to new season.

Agreed ref budgets, not a lot of money in RL right across the board these days, just look at the financial problems in SL over the last few seasons. With regards to where the Dons will finish in 2014, who ever knows? So many things to go wrong....and right of course but what gives me a good feeling is this.

The squad has well proven they can compete against the best at this level and/or be part of them. A new coach with new ideas and a pedigree that is envied across the leagues. Tie this in with a squad that looks like they want to play and win for each other then it's a good place to be for any CC club. Roll on the 12th for the first pre-season friendly!!!

Top 2 or 3 ? don't you seriously think that might just be a tad unrealistic ? Fev, Leigh, Sheffield & Fax are clearly going to be top 4 without considering Batley......looking at your squad I cant see how the squad you have can compete with any of the top 4 or 5......maybe getting some Hull players may make the difference although look what happened to York
