Just been googling and it looks as if they have a good amateur set-up down there.

No more silly than putting a team in a city with no amateur presence and a long tradition of football, SO, ie our nearest and dearest. Just had a look at the Hillsborough Hawks website and they have a thriving junior set-up with teams at all ages. Case dismissed

I am really worried about the RFL, some incredibly bizarre decisions without apparent responsibility. These include going against the wishes of the members.

why are not bramley concidered oh i forgot its in the heartland of rugby league, sorry

With respect, Bramley struggled to fulfill some of their fixtures last season and I believe (although I'll stand correcting if I'm wrong) that it's happened once already this season.

That said it is extremely sad what's happened there.

sorry I did not know that so why are the rfl not helping such clubs .

I think that for the past 12 months or so they have struggled for players.

I personaly think its to much all at once and believe it would of been better to introduce one team a year over the next 4 years and introduce teams from just out side the heartlands where ther maybe a little bit of intrest in RL rather than none. i agree the game needs to expand to other areas and it will be great for the sport in many ways but i am a firm believer in baby steps. In saying that i wish these chosen few the very best of luck i hope it works out as i hate to see any team fail and go bust its never nice to see people out off jobs and fans with no club
