| A tough fixture ahead against the meanest defence in the division and but for Blackpools freak 132-0 victory what would have been the most potent attack.
But the players can take heart from a much-improved performance last week.

| Hunslet went to Oldham and duffed them up big style.
That really surprised me.
You know what it was like away at Hunslet.....we didn't bother to watch the entire second half. We have got better since....but it would appear so have Hunslet, probably more so.
COYD Gerrinto'em.

| Hunslet are flying high and putting 50+ past nearly everybody. They destroyed my club York the other week, If you can keep em within 25 points I would consider that very very good. There's just no stopping the Hawks, why did our Chairman have to fall out with and sack Paul March? He was loved at York. Good luck Doncaster.

I've watched Sheffield on SKY the last two Thursday evenings and in truth, they have any number of players under-achieving.
Flattered to beat Dewsbury and although they scored more tries than Keighley (and so they should with the backs available to them) they could never shake off a determined Cougars team that just wouldn't give the game up. Lack of a recognised Goalkicker appears to be hurting them too.

| Scott Watson trained with his new teammates this week and is available if selected as is Mick Butterfield (back from holiday).
Shaun Leaf and Danny Stanley are endeavouring to recover from minor injuries picked up last weekend but Jamie Bovill and Garry Ellery continue to be ruled out as does Aaron Henry.
Whats happened to Liam Brown?

| final score Dons 20 Hunslet 30.
Good spells in each half gave Dons a bonus point , Rob Lunt had a good game , we clearly lacked not having an extra prop on the bench .

| I left after 50 minutes......once again in disgust at the officials.
The pivotal point in the game for me was when after 35 minutes we were on the attack in what was then a tight game......a game to be LEFT ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But no!..... the feckin referee penalises US when we are on the attack. One of our forwards is about to play the ball right in front of the posts, he is being shoved, pulled and generally ragged about such that he lurches forward and the numpty of a ref penalises us for moving off the mark.
Then from the penalty Hunslet go down the other end of the field and score.
The seesaw had tipped..... courtesy of the ref......diabolical.
When are they going to penalise the offenders??????????
That was a game we COULD HAVE WON.
They are truly a disgrace, but now't can be done.
It doesn't really matter because the better side won.... the refs get-out.
FFS!
The entire game of rugby is a joke!
You have sides with next to two farthings to rub together fielding players who are are easily a division above this level.
How's that work???
Well done to the Dons for gaining a bonus point out of this shambles of a match.

| i enjoyed the match doncaster matched hunslet for long periods but hunslet just had a little luck and a couple of referee decisions go there way at the right time. the 2 trys 5 mins before half time gave them the game but doncaster had a good performance overall and deserved there bonus for sure...
