| This is a bit of a bugger so early in the season, we could have done with them at home not away.
Call me pessimistic, but I can't see beyond a defeat!
So come on you Dons prove me wrong ...I'd love it!
Don't think I am going, because for some reason we are beaten before we start at Cougar Park.
Why?
My theory is that we can't take the physicality of what they shove at us, we aren't prepared to graft the platform for a win.
You ain't gonna win with fancy footy alone at Keighley!

| Defence and some more defence needed there. They will be brimming with confidence having put on a cricket score last Sunday. A really true test of everyone's mettle coming up and I think it could be tight. Cut out the penalties, control your full sets, bring a kicking game to the match, catch the kick offs, nowt to it (easy said says me sat on this kitchen chair) We could edge this but not predicting it. They are a good side at home and a leading favourite to go up this year. Whats not too lose.
PS enjoy the beers in the area, they are superb.

| Jordon Abdull is likely to play for Hull against Widnes this weekend as Leon Pryce is awaiting a scan on a potential injury.
Other snippets of breaking news today shows Brian Smith has resigned as Wakefield coach and Sheffield have pulled out of the Reserves competition without playing a game.

| Abdull is in the Hull 19 & Yeaman must be a doubt due to concussion..
Hope we see Doherty again soon, think he is a good player & can play centre or wing.

| For the game on Sunday, I would move Carr back to stand off and put sheriff to full back. I would keep Jones-Bishop don't think he's done too much wrong. Would keep cross in the team but have him come off the bench as an impact player when the opponents are tiring. I hope Doherty is back this game but last I heard he had work commitments preventing him from playing the past few weeks

| And let's not forget the disgraceful fixture list we have had dumped on us. We play Keighley,Toulouse, Hunslet and Rochdale away with no chance of stuffing them at our place. Because we don't play them there.
One hand tied behind our back ....
We have to be twice as good as the others nearly ... pants!

Completely agree. Have a look at the RFL's shoe in promotion team - Toulouse and their fixture list and get yourself some Money on them for automatic promotion.
If we do manage to get the second spot we will have bloody well deserved it.

Was looking at their fixture list yesterday ... I would swap for ours.
Plus, they don't play anybody good for about four games.
Off to a flier ...
Stupid idea playing teams from different countries.
Might pack in watching if such as Toronto get let in.
WTF?!
In Stand-Offishland the clubs in our division would refuse to play unless an extra promotion place was factored in for Toulouse.
If that is the case fine, but if not I would say stuff Toulouse we ain't doing it!

| I agree that any league that doesn't involve playing each team at home and away is fundamentally flawed.
The top team goes up automatically and teams two to five play off for the other promotion place. We can't do anything about the way the fixtures have fallen but as long as we get into the top five, we'll be in the mix at the end of the season.
I'd never advocate anything other than going out to win every game because if we do we'll be champions but the odds of us finishing top is probably about 6/1. The important thing is to make sure we peak for the play offs as that is realistically the most likely way we'll get promoted.
Give me a league where everyone plays each other home and away any day but given what we've got, we need to get a top five finish (preferably top three) and be at our best when it really matters.

| Interesting Dons squad for Sunday:
R. Hawkyard 1 Carr
Gabriel 2 M. Welham
Martin 3 Turgut
Barnes 4 L. Welham
White 5 Dean
Brook 6 Kesik
Handforth 7 Hedges
Law 8 Scott
Feather 9 Cross
Rawlins 10 Aizue
D. Hawkyard 11 Foster
Oakes 12 Tonks
Lindsay 13 Milton
Ollett 14 Sheriff
Bailey 15 Nicholson
Cherryholme 16 Paleaaesina
Peltier 17 Doherty
Esslemont 18 Braham
Finigan. 19 Walton.
Jansin Turgut comes in to replace Kirk Yeaman and Reece Dean (a Hull half-back) replaces Jordon Abdull who played for Hull at Widnes last night.
There are few names we're very familiar with in the Keighley team.

| Could see Carr on wing ,Sheriff at full back. Doherty playing centre , Dean & Hedges at half back.
Strong pack , a problem who to leave out.
Just my thoughts no inside knowledge .
