The season finally gets underway! It's seems ages since our previous games!
I hope the lack of action isn't going to put us at a disadvantage. The first two games seem vital. if we don't win them, we could easily have no points after five matches before playing Dewsbury at home in game six. Things could look quite bleak should we be going into May with no points, especially considering four of our first six are at home. Hence, why it seems vital that we beat both York and Sheffield.
Here's the fixture list for the first 13 games:
York (H)
Sheffield (H)
Wakey (A)
Fev (H)
Barrow (A)
Dewsbury (H) on 28th April
Widnes (A)
Batley (H)
Halifax (A)
Whitehaven (H)
Toulouse (A)
Bradford (A)
Swinton (H)
Looking at this list shows how tough the Championship really is.
Will we beat York and Sheffield? What does everyone think?
Quote: Wilf Grimshaw "Broken jaw in two places DM. Appears the tackle by the York player was placed on report. Alex will be about for about three months.'"
Thanks Wilf.
Poor lad. I hope he recovers quickly. From a playing point of view, he's a massive loss.
Quote: Jemmo "Was it the one near the end? If so it's the tackle which is on the highlights'"
Yes its at 11.14 on the video, Alex running out of our 10 mt area. Number 14 for York (culprit) gives the appearance of knowing he's got the tackle wrong.
