At his age that belly will only get bigger! At the time i thought he was a good signing and his experience definitely contributed to our promotion but on the field he is majorly limited. Doesn't score many tries, zero pace, questionable stamina and walks the discipline tightrope! Wouldn't of minded him joining the coaching side of things but feel he's taking a playing spot that should be given to someone with more mobility.

Spoke with a friend yesterday who has close links to one of the York Knights sponsors , he told me that The Dons had signed Paulie Paulie for the 2024 season as he had been his sponsor since he arrived at the Knights.
He said if fit he is a handful but injuries last season limited his appearances.

If true could give us the size we lack now Vete has returned to Cas.

16.5 stone and 6ft5 he's a proper unit, only reservation is the serious injury he's coming back from, alot of York fans are 50/50 whether he can get back to anywhere near his best. Has the potential to suffer setbacks that will hinder his time here but on the flip side if he can get fit and healthy he will be a real force.
