In a list of props that I admired wearing a Dons shirt this guy is the dogs, given his knee problem. He is up there for me with Parky and Mea David as cult status. He has no right to keep going on one leg, lesser men would have said enough enough and not come back on, but to keep going like he does is extraordinary. Sits on the bench with an ice pack on his knee today, comes back on and smashes his way to a try. Top man.

I can't speak highly enough of him. It's players like Brandon that make rugby league a special sport. The props don't do the eye-catching work (most of the time) but their courage and commitment is highly commendable.

Proper performance from him yesterday. Paul Cooke and Matthew Shaw on commentary were glowing with praise for him, and deservedly so. Think he only had 15 minutes off the pitch, which, for an impact prop like him, with an ongoing knee problem, was outstanding.
