On a coach trip on Monday, I got talking to two Knights supporters and the pitch maintenance came up. They were both adamant that Castle Park will definitely not be available next year.

At the meeting, Carl said it was the coach's decision. No additional information was given.

No formal announcement has been made by the club. It was not included in the minutes of the meeting and no announcement has been made since the meeting. Why the silence from the club? I do not know, Returning Don.

Ryan Dixon wasn't mentioned as far as I can recall, Paul.

Carl said that Elliot Townsend had signed for us to provide cover due to injuries. Whether it was temporary signing or a permanent deal, it wasn't made clear.

Sometimes a few conversations break out at once at these meetings and it's not always easy to take everything in. Maybe Gary has some recollection of what was said?

Carl said re Elliot Townsend that we had signed him but he wasn't currently getting picked by the coach.
