Quote: KRLFC "Good analysis but your loss at Workington today has thrown a spanner into the works! On paper Doncaster and Keighley should be on level points at the end of the season with Keighley advancing to the play offs due to a better points difference but I have no confidence with how Keighley are playing at the moment and I certainly wouldn't bet against you at York ... keep your head up and good luck.'"
I listened to the commentary of the Keighley game on BBC radio Cumbria. It seemed as though Keighley were a bit flat after the very hard games against Toronto and York. After a week off next weekend, they could bounce back to their best.
If we lose to York and Toronto (both of which seem favourites to happen), we might only end up with two more points. Keighley would need to win at Newcastle and beat Workington at home to claim fifth spot. Basically Keighley need to win one more game than the Dons to get ahead of us.
I wish the rest of the season had been as interesting as the play-offs. They've got to change the league structure for next season. Good luck to you KRLFC too. I suspect we'll be crossing swords again in this division again next season, but it's a funny old game, and strange things can happen. The Cumbrian sides do seem to have a little bit extra than both the Dons and Keighley at the moment though.
