Well here's my opinion so far for what it's worth:

1. I still say PC should have stayed as he would have greatly improved things if actually allowed the time, players and budget but we expected it all straight away. If it takes 2/3 seasons to achieve and maintain that then so be it!
2. We let quality players go who had proved their worth in a Dons shirt but hadn't fully recovered from injuries, drop in form etc...again expecting everything immediately on their return. Boy did some of them show us up on Friday. Cast offs somebody said....so what shall we label their replacements cos none of em are near as good? Most players brought in for this season are unknown and nearer conference league standard IMO.
3. We only looked ok in previous showings cos we relied on the old DR players showing out (which really means Hulls' injured/rested/available are holding us up)!
4. No discipline or respect for the coaching team judging by some of the disgraceful & dirty play shown on Friday by some.

Early days thankfully but we need some decent players bringing in pretty sharpish on decent contracts, and a known coach with a good reputation who can sort this out or this is gonna be a long, hard season!

I have no idea who the first choice seventeen will be but I'm trying to understand and get my head around the complete turn around in results/performance so far. Straw clutching maybe or boardering on the insanely optimistic I don't know.

Time to take a break from here for a while until it all pans out one way or the other.

Much better today , could see some confidence returning . Lets hope we can get a settled side out for the rest of April & May.
