Quote: Stand-Offish "I like Lee, he's a good player, but like so many part-timers he is not at his fighting weight.
There are a few like that in the Dons team.
Castle was one.
It's like trying to play rugby carrying a full rucksack.
Contrast that with the London side, fully fit ... all muscle.
That's one of the reasons London won and why we are abysmal in second halves.'"
Very good point and I believe it's nearer the truth rather than any conflict with the coach. Some players don't give their "all" outside of the training nights and game days, some do. Either way it's a massive ask of the players who are P/T and don't get great money for what they actually go through week in/out so in one way I get why this happens. The game now demands they act and train like full time but get P/T rewards. Only my opinion and it'd be great to see all teams on a level playing field but it isn't to be. As for Brett Waller I believe he has had official time out for family reasons and no more in it.
