Special mention for young Wilko. Suprised on two counts having thought he was done till next year. Firstly well done on making it back for the season end and secondly, bloody well done for the 80 mins. Looked to be struggling big time during the under the cosh second half period but put it to one side and full credit to the lad saw it out to the end. Well done.
While we are giving out special mentions have to say I thought Matt Carbutt was very impressive, in particular the constant pressure he put on their kickers.

If the players had read Cookeys programme notes then that's all they will have needed to get revved up for the game. A great performance from all 17 of the lads. We just have to keep this form for next week and then into the playoffs. We will give anyone a game in the playoffs on our day.
Off the top of my head that's 2 head coaches who left before their next game after being beat by us this year. Gary Charlton of Workington and now Karl Harrison just curious have their been anymore? either way it seems like an odd coincidence.
