my point is there is the rule for DR players.Im suprised clubs are not aware of this, this has been am on going discussion on out forum and others for most of july as the deadline approached.We have 2 players hand and forster who have played for us all season who can play after the deadline, but were were suprised on sunday when Adam swift was in the rochdale team the first time he has played for them this season, we would have though if he was eligable to play we would have seen him up at haven like last season

I've heard on the grape vine that the powers-that-be made an error in communication to the clubs last week which may have resulted in some confusion over who was eligible to play for them.

Meanwhile, I'm also hearing that a club located not so far from yourselves may be in deeper do-do after fielding an overseas loan player for whom they did not have a valid work permit. Something or other to do with the players existing work permit being employer specific?

Mistakes do happen.

According to their web site Dewsbury have no case to answer !

Because the Bulls have confirmed the player Sam Wood is under the £20,000 salary cap requirement and therefor under rule BS:17 the minimum 3 games does not apply. Doubt if that rule can be used in Ben Crooks case.
