From John Parkhouse - I'm still a bit shell shocked after hearing the news about George. he looked so well last time we saw him and told us that things were going well.
I had a huge amount of respect for George, he always had a big smile for every one and always made a big fuss when he saw us.
He welcomed me into the rugby family with open arms when I first met him and treated me like an old friend from day one.

He's a huge loss to us all and will leave a massive hole in both the rugby world and in the lives of all who knew him.
Rest in Peace George you will always be in our thoughts.

Margaret, Mark, David and family would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to all relatives and friends for their cards of condolence, messages of sympathy and generous donations received during our sad loss.
