Lesson learnt hopefully for the young man. I have never trusted that clock since loosing to Celtic Crusaders. Back to the match. Apart from some daft penalties I came away from that game believing we have a great little team in prospect. Well done to everyone concerned at the club and I will have a very large piece of that humble pie. The key for me is to keep (fingers crossed) the nucleus of the side and provide us with something that has been sadly missing for the past 4/5 years. Speaking to Richard (Huby) at half time filled me with more optimism for the future than I have had for a number of years.

Nobody is blaming you...and you do a difficult job.
But time is up when you say it's up....the clock is just a guide and players should know that.
You would need a system where the time-keepers control the clock...stopping it and starting it on the refs say so.
If that is what happens at present....then it doesn't work properly. Because 80 mins should be 80 mins...it is on SKY etc.
The fans count down.5-4-3-2-1-yippee!
I really enjoyed the match, it was just a shame we let them sneak the bonus point, but at this time last year we could not buy a win!
I am looking forward to next season already. The play offs this year may be slightly out of reach due to our difficult start to the season with team gelling and injuries but i think it is a good time to be a Dons fan. Has anyone noticed the attendance figures at Swinton and Workington this weekend? 280 & 307 respectively! This makes our 560 very respectable considering that they are both higher in the league than us.
