simple people like Winters could bring sponsorship running into 1,000's with his connections, where as the run of the mill person (including myself) would be lucky to get £1,000 a time sponsors.

well if he does do it then good luck to him.

The future of the Dons remained uncertain this week despite reports that former Mayor Martin Winter was poised to launch a bid to rescue the club.

My point is that if he is doing it for the love of the club he wouldnt take a percentage.If the supporters take the club on and I was on the board for example, the only income i would recieve would be from my employer NOT from the rugby club.I dont see why he should be any different.
