| Great show from Widnes. the biggest improvement on last year for me is your goal line defence. How many ex Wigan players do you have in your squad?

| I think most teams have got an ex wigan contingent haven't they? Particularly round here. They've got one of the best academies in the country but frequently let go of good players.

| Still got a big smile on my face!
The atmosphere was great inside the ground last night. Chuffed to bits with a really good performance and lots of heart from the lads. I'm not getting too carried away, but the signs are there that we'll give most teams a good game at home and we've improved massively since last season.

Superb comments would include a much improved defence but you can clearly see the squad going in the right direction and your improving year on year. The additions of Brown and Hock are real bonuses and they made a huge difference when the scores where close in the second half. Hock's offload was immense late in the game, just wish he was more disciplined.

Missed out Phelps,Briscoe, and Clarke. But did not realise Clarke played for Wigan. All decent players, so not complaining to be honest. Not sure on Brown, as not really had a decent run out this season.Fingers crossed it is not too bad mate. Be good to have a competitive Widnes v Warrington games again, and a real derby.

| Why does everybody become suicidal pretty much as soon as they lose against us? "Both teams were crap" and "sack the coach" are always in any following discussion.
Give us some credit.

I think it showed the previous week against us, you are a totally different team with Hock on the pitch, and i thought then, you are quite capable of giving any team in the league a run for their money.
Keeping Hock on the pitch could be a problem, given his occasional brainfrts, having said that I thought Silverwood was going looking for a chance to penalise him on Friday, and there were a couple of times he was penalised for the same offense FC were allowed to get away with.
Good luck for the rest of your season, good to have one of the properRL teams back in the top flight, and well done again for Friday.

| Thanks for the kind words dudley. Good to see a lot more teams being competitive in superleague, including yourselves and not one single team looks miles better than the rest.

| I thought London was one of the most professional performances from a Widnes side I've seen but Saturday was certainly one of the best.
We looked confident and controlled. Far fewer straight one ups than the week before (thanks to the imperious Jon Clarke). We moved the ball quickly with better movements and it was noticeable how early in the tackle account we attacked at times.
The start to the second half after a tight first we just blew Hull away and then settled the game. Injuries a massive blow but certainly a great platform to build on!
