There are tons of other fans talking about this all over the place, it's big news. Why should we be exempt? We've been drawn into the discussion, can't expect us all to just ignore it. Why should other fans be allowed to chat about it and not us?

What I meant was accept this with the same dignity that your chairman/ceo accepted the initial decision. Widnes got a lot of sympathy from fans across the board.......leigh on the other hand got nothing except what they deserved. Celtic may well survive this.....and two more years of bitterness isn't what your club, players or fans deserve.

There are one or two fans who insist on going on all the rival boards bringing this up and it frustrates me that these somehow reflect on all of us but that's another story.

And you only have to look at the VT, "I wonder what widnes fans will think of this" etc etc. We're damned if we do, damned if we don't.

Yeah we should discuss this, but not get our hopes up for some sort of license off the back of it. To be honest, it might stuff us up. Most players have been bought for next season in SL, we'd essentially have one season where we are crippled and then one season alone to make an impact. It might not be enough, and people would be judging us from the very start.

But it does go to show how useless he RFL are and inconsistent too. We've all seen how difficult it is for clubs down here to get australian players, and we have a much smaller quota from the offset.

I would think that IF you were invited to the top table, you would get a 5 yr licence....and be given time to prove what you can do.....but until it happens, keep your dignity and your powder dry!!

I'm just sitting back loving every minute of this, but it's like a couple of people said, let's concentrate on Widnes and Widnes only, let's all get there and back them against Whitehaven, and for the rest of the play offs

FWIW, if Widnes get back into SL at the next round of franchises, I will be delighted, genuinley.
