And was still doing so at the time of the announcement! You could read a thread on even the Leeds board about pending decisions and their would be 2/3 Leythers getting their kicks in, some even trying to justify their own inclusion  |

Its a sad state of affairs when a club is obviously encouraged to massage the financial figures but when that same club spends the next 3 years telling the world how good its youth systems are and then systamatically starts ripping them apart and releasing all its kids, what are we suppose to think?.

I would be very careful in what your saying with this JC, very careful indeed.
As for letting the kids go only Hulme has gone from the youth who deserved a contract, the rest were not good enough for Super League. |

The youth the club has been raving about are the liked of Craven, Gore, Gilmour, Owens, Brown, Whity all still here!
We also didn't fudge figures it's not rocket science! The first year we put structures and changes in place at a big cost, the second year was then mainly money coming on.

Yes I did , but nowhere did I suggest you had ' cheated ' at anything , you announced what was in the ' books ' , I just questioned how it had got into the ' books '
Any director with a spare fifty grand in the bank could easily put it through the clubs account every week of the year if he wanted to giving a 2.6 million turnover , if you don't understand that , it isn't my fault , have you announced similar figures for the following year ?
Because if you have , then a max SL salary cap spend should be no issue for you
As I have stated , I have more than balanced any criticism of Widnes' s supposed financial performance with many , many posts extoling the positives you have given to the Championships and will bring to SL in the next few years |
