I've heard Salford have signed hock for next year on a 3 year deal. Massive recruitment is currently underway for later this year and next season at Salford Dr Koukash will be spending upto the full salary cap.

That's not true pal, he hasn't signed any deal for 2014.

He's still contracted to Wigan for 2014 IIRC.

Not officially I believe he's agreed terms for next year just in nagotiations with Wigan over a transfer fee. I understand we tried to tempt him on loan this year but as Dr Koukash only took over the club on Thursday this week he didn't want the uncertainty of waiting to see if we survived.

He had higher offers than Widnes mate but chose us because he has numerous friends here and has worked under betts previously. He doesn't strike me as a lad who's driven massively by money. Fair do's to Salford for having a go but I don't think Hock will be at Salford for 2014.

Yeah that's one of the highlights mate, Simms was a leach who was bad for the game as a whole. We're so lucky to get a new backer especially a very wealthy one. It's good for the game as a whole too.

Yet within a week Hock was happy to commit to 3 years? I think the story on his future post 2013 has a long way to go tbh.
