Big loss for me .

Went school a few years above him and he has got Rugby League flowing in his blood.

He did a bloody great job in charge for a brief spell didnt he ???

Shame we could not of kept him lets hope steps are being made in the right direction

Must admit I`ve been anti Cullen at the mo but fingers crossed

I trust Cullen and think he's making the correct decisions, Stanky is a loss but will have no problem finding another club.

We now have paul Cullen and Mick Cassidy which is a good combo, shame about Stanky but life isnt always fair.

Things are starting to take shape under PC now,behind the scenes if not on the pitch.I think he is starting to put his own stamp on the club now.

I think people have got to be realistic, in this current climate we've got to be smart.

People are saying Stanky is a great coach, and I don't think anyone is disputing his ability (great is a little strong), but we've got to be smart and look to the future and stability financially has to be paramount after what happened last time round.

I don't think he'll be out the game long, whats the odds on Doncaster being bailed out by someone again and Stanky taking over again?

Cullen brings in Cassidy.....then he doesnt need an assistant. Shame for Stanky, really rate him and believe he could make a good coach.

I think Cullen is starting to show people he's not just a man of words as some people have painted him out to be.

So, it seems he was forced out by a reduction in hours.

wouldn't it have been better to have put stank as head coach rather than bring a new one in as you did. That way the wages paid to your head coach now (which must be allot) could have been spent on 2 or 3 quality players.

good point. ive heard as well that they might be reducing it outside super league level next year by up to 30% to help make the clubs more stable or level it out a little without them all going bust trying to compete.

Prob unfair on widnes as with the stadium you have and crowds allowing you to spend much more then you should just be in super league anyway instead of some of the teams which just get 2500 fans each week. i just dont get how they make there decisions at times. it frustrates me as a league fan so it must drive you lot mad.
