Just out of interest... have you been inside Wilderspool at all recently. I'm wondering what it looks like now from the inside. I drive past it everyday and wonder.

Some brilliant memories of derby games in that old ground. I personally loved visiting it. The noise you could generate under that shed in the away end was tremendous.

Despite all the talk of new stadiums I do hark back and fondly think of grounds like Central Park and the terrific games we had at places like that.
Sitting in half empty grounds like the Galpharm, the JJB and the KC just don't provide the same level of atmosphere.

It's not the final finished product fragrance though is it, it's a nasty chemical smell!!

And yes IET, Bank Quay station platform is particularly unpleasant when that smell is in the air!

Current widnes prop pickersgill is a product of the wire youth system. You have loaned penny from us and now seem interested in cooper. Is that not poaching too then?

We had the measure of cas without getting out of 2nd gear and we played the heavy conditions quite well. No team in the league will blow their opposition off the park every single week,sometimes you have to grind out wins too. 4 points from 2 games,can't ask for more than that and I am sure we will up the intensity level next week against wigan. They have never won a competitive fixture at our ground and I am sure that run will continue next week!

No that's realising they should be playing for gods team instead of Dire.
