They should of allowed a discounted price for new members signing up now but payments only starting later. I know 2 people who will join but only want to when were in super league. They have no interest in watching the championship. So wont be joining till probably Feb next year.

Will pre season friendlies be included in the price? How many challenge cup games would be included, it just says "the early rounds", what about play offs?

^ that's why they are doing it that way! If you want it cheap then get behind the club right away! If you only want SL then you'll get the SL price. Fair enough too me and good way to try and get people in NOW not in 8 months time.

Become a member in Feb pay for the season upto Sept....

Pay £17.99/mth in Feb March April May June July Aug and Sept - pay only £143.92 and still watch all 13 games as they will all fall in those 8 mths. £11.07/game ????

If you leave the scheme then if you wish to re-join their would be a sign on fee applied if you wanted to re-join again (likely to be simailr cost to if just stayed in more than likely, if not more!).

Ah, I get ya... !!! .. But still an ideal money saving idea for those emigrating at the end of the 2012 season !!!

I have just sent in my forms, and asked for the same seat that I have this year in the South Stand. Guaranteed if you want it.

South Stand Gold [concession] will cost £17.99 pcm [I am told] which, moneywise, is 88 p a year more than the current cost. Add on the extra bits and it is really good value, and spread through the year.

I think that a few of the Viking Stronghold forms should be sent to schools and passed round the town -- with the Weekly News, for instance.

As an outsider it seems a good idea, however people may hold back in the first year to see how the team performs. Have a good first year and you could get the 7000 in year 2, but, have a bad year and 7000 may be too much to expect. Unfortunately you need the money in the first year to have a good year. This is one of the problems for any team going into SL, the other is most of the top players are contracted for several years and not available.

I think this is what this scheme is trying to address...

In effect we are saying to our fans... pay £17 a month to come and watch the team plus the other added extras you get.. then if you don't like what you see you can cancel without any hassle.

The problem trying to get 7,000 people to sign up to a season ticket is the fact that once you've paid your money you're tied for the whole season.

Printing forms in the Weekly News / World / even Liverpool Echo would be a cracking idea. Agree 100% Old Vikings.
