strange i heard 3 weeks ago that chris bailey has signed for huddersfield for next season! from a newspaper column.

not confirmed from either club likely it will be at the end of the season when its the right time.

just saying widnes seem to announce signings while a player is still at another club, like last season with us and kev brown.

this time is danny tickle and hull fc.

thats the point im making, dont see many other clubs employing this tactic.

As I said earlier official or not players know they've signed as do clubs so what does it change whether official or not? Look at Hull KR now demanding a deal gets announced!!!

It's common knowledge that Mull was tapped up last year before signing for Hudds. There were rumours on your board that he had signed before he had declined to sign a new contract and his mates that frequent the TIW board confirmed that there was interest from your lot. Once this was found out he was banished off to the Championship

We even had posters from your message board arguing the case that your club were perfectly in the right to be approaching a players representatives directly without requesting permission from the club first before the deadline.

Surely with the deadline being brought forward we will see a lot more announcements about players signing for other clubs from 2014. Its common practice in the NRL for players to announce they are going elsewhere 12 months in advance of that happening as I think deals are allowed to be done when in the last 12 months of their contract.

announcing your off to another club during the season isnt a good idea... ask nathan brown and kev brown!

St George signed Gareth Widdop a few months ago who has been Storm's best player since...

We announced a signing mid way through the season. Clearly destabilising the team. Huddersfield have signed a player mid season and taken him from a team which is....completely err....different...and somehow err....less bad?

if he had been left at wakefield and we announced it then you would have an argument but he has come on loan straight away so still my point is teams are announcing signings while the player is still at another club.
