I dont rate Haggerty never did at Leigh,Joe Mellor is class i agree as is Tomkins ,but i feel they may be outmuscled by our Pack ,Penny is good and lightening fast no doubt ,we will have to watch him , not to sure about Crosby ,apparently also a Leyther ,as i said a very close game , but like you VM ,im loyal to my team and predict a Leythers win ,see ya Sunday .

Kurt was a clear missing link in the month or so when we struggled (Inc 3 games vs Leigh). Mellor plays very Sam Tomkins esq, if theirs a gap anywhere that lad will find it and get there!

If Pickersgill & Kavanagh and to a lesser extent Varkulis carry on where they left off against Batley then there'll only be one pack being outmuscled. They were brutal at times on the Batley pack.
Really looking forward to this one, could go either way.

The form Pickers is in i'd back him against anyone tbh, Kav has somehow managed to step up and Varks is just a machine, an important factor is getting the balance of the interchange right IMO as when Pickers & Varks were off against Batley we lacked a little bit of true grit in the middle. |
