The victims injuries would suggest otherwise Mike.

Its not yet be proven that those injuries were caused by the steward or infact were as a result of the incident. If the individual was one of those arrested, then the injuries would have been noted by the police on his arrest record (to cover themselves). If the person was not arrested but merely ejected from the ground, one might like to point out that there was an incident near to the railway station after the game which involved a number of fans.

All I would said is that the video of the incident does NOT show the stewards hitting the fan in a way that would cause those injuries (not saying he did or he didnt). All I would say its that the Daily Mail actually has about as much idea of what really happened as two people chatting in the pub the day after the game........based on what they heard happened.

What it says Mystic Yed is that the Police aren't doing their jobs.
I was at the game, in the Warrington Corporate seating, halfway line in the north stand.
I clearly saw the bouncer hitting this bloke repeatedly.
I also saw him and another getting filled in at the bottom of the terrace, out of the view of most Widnes fans.
There were idiots amongst the Widnes fans for sure, those who threw the smoke bomb for a start.
I saw Salford fans throw a can and Hull Kr fans also throw a smoke bomb this season as well though, but the bouncers didn't steam in and fill anyone in then though.
