Not sensitive, just don't see the need for personal and ill informed abuse..

I thought it was Widnes?

Correct.
And on what basis have you formed that opinion? He was in charge for one game against Toulouse, granted at the time the opposition were not great but you can't judge him on one game.
So what he won as a coach?Fact he done nothing yet.Not a personal dig but he not that good.Everyone kept saying adam bowman good and i knew he was not.Sorry i know my stuff and discipline, team morale, commitment, and everyone putting body on the line for each other, wins games more than losses. He be a average coach but i wish him well.

| So you his mate or him in disguise. We can see we got nowhere in last 3 yrs and coaching team got to take some of the blame. They bring in the players and train them.Fact cullen came out with players not training together.Fact cullen knows some players not good enough.Internet cafe and perks need to go until start performing.Fact we had a great team under ste mac but we underperformed with a team well capable of winning the league.Look at all the players doing well at wakey. All facts.

| Quote: Soldierboy "So you his mate or him in disguise.'"
Fuck me, do I have to repeat myself?
Quote: Soldierboy "Actually, yes I do know John and have known him for 20 years.'"
I am not denying the team has severly underperformed this year
And what has that got to do with JS's physique? McCormack and O'Connor have brought in these players. I recall numerous people who used to watch the academy saying that under Stanny they were playing good ,entertaining, discplined Rugby - he merely assisted. I know as well from a first hand source that the players were raving about the training sessions under him after Mac had gone. McCormack recruited players for 5 drives and a kick Rugby and ultimately he has been responsible for that and ed off accordingly. I'll ask again, what has that got to do with JS's physique?
Quote: Soldierboy "Fact cullen came out with players not training together.'"
When he was announced I backed him and will still do, and if it doesn't work out I'll wish him the best. During the first few weeks nothing changed whilst he was in charge and that has come from a more than reliable source. It has taken a good 10 weeks for a change in the training regime to come about.
Quote: Soldierboy "Fact cullen knows some players not good enough.Internet cafe and perks need to go until start performing.
Yes, and they are not his players, but I'll wager you'll be one of the fans calling him at the end of the season if we don't get in any finals.
Quote: Soldierboy "Fact we had a great team under ste mac but we underperformed with a team well capable of winning the league.Look at all the players doing well at wakey. All facts.
And had nothing to do with John Stankevitch as he left in May 2007, after we battered Cas at their place.
Whilst I don't really disagree with some of your facts, I still fail to see what this has to do with John Stankevitch's physique and past, current and future capabilities as a coach, given the fact that he was not the main man in charge and that was Steve Mac and that JS did not recruit any of the players.

He went to bottom of the league Doncaster part way through the season what the do you expect him to do? And was in charge for one game at Widnes.

Love the way you bring Adam Bowman into this argument, me, Is that a fact?
Quote: Soldierboy "Sorry i know my stuff and discipline, team morale, commitment, and everyone putting body on the line for each other, wins games more than losses.'"
And your point is?
You a cherry picking arguments to suit. First it has turned into a personal attack on Stanny and now it isn't personal and your twisting and turning it to suit yourself and bringing Adam Bowman into it to substantiate your facts!

On thread drift:
[quote="tb":24qn1m99]Tough. Conversations develop. It's their nature.[/quote:24qn1m99]
Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”
[i:24qn1m99]There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair
with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back![/i:24qn1m99]

| I'm afraid that Soldierboy epitomises all that is wrong about these forums. His ability to personally abuse others is a disgrace, and whilst hiding behind a username, I'm sure he thinks he is very brave and clever. Have a little bit of bottle lad and state your full name and if you are even braver than that, an address? I'm sure the people you've abused would be more than happy to pay you a visit.
On the subject of this post, why JS come into this? He was out on the town enjoying a drink with his own friends, NOT THE PLAYERS, after all he is a Widnes liad and this is his hometown club and he has every right to go wherever he wants and do whatever he wants.
On the subject on his weight. The lad played professionally for 10 years where I would imagine he trained every day and was fitter than most people will ever be. He has now stopped playing and I'm pretty sure he'll train nowhere near as often as he did. What happens then is weight gain as your body is used to being trained daily and then with no training, your metabolism slows and obviously you put on weight.
I was actually with JS on saturday and he wasn't drinking and doesn't drink BEER. So, there goes the theory of the BEER BELLY. As for fatty, he is a former front rower/back rower and weighs about 17 1/2 stone. If you see that as a fatty then you have a sad little life Soldierboy.
